The HSBC Community Day, the first one co-organised by TWGHs and HSBC, was successfully held on 5 April 2018 at Indian Recreation Club, So Kong Po, Causeway Bay. We were honoured to have the Hon. CHEUNG Kin Chung, Matthew, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. Peter WONG, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive, HSBC, Ms. Diana CESAR, Chief Executive of HSBC Hong Kong, Mr. Vinci WONG, the Chairman, and Mr. Philip MA, Vice-Chairman cum Chairman of Community Services Committee, as officiating guests.

The opening performance was conducted by the TWGHs E Major Ensemble and the African Drum Team from TWGHs Kwan Fong Kai Chi School. Other performers were mainly from the DARE! Project of the Youth & Family Services Section. Interactive game booths were set up by TWGHs to introduce our services to the participants in a light-hearted way, including two large-scale projects funded by the HSBC 150th Anniversary Charity Programme — Intelligent Robots for SEN Children Learning: Robot4SEN Project and Parents Academy. Over the years, HSBC has donated more than $73 million to TWGHs and has jointly organised over 160 projects with the Group to serve the community. The HSBC Community Day would further strengthen the collaboration between TWGHs and HSBC to benefit the Hong Kong society.
